Revium's Carbon Neutral Statement FY26

Revium is committed to staying carbon neutral - it’s one of the main ways we give back to the environment. We calculate our emissions carefully and track our offsets to make sure the number actually stacks up. Here's where FY26 landed.

Our FY26 Footprint

We recorded 15.03 tonnes of carbon emissions for the year, up slightly from 14.98 tonnes in FY25. Two things drove the increase: a small rise in office waste and more interstate air travel as staff delivered AI presentations at conferences around Australia.

How We Offset It

We purchased 17 tonnes of carbon offsets for FY26, giving ourselves headroom above the 15.03 figure to cover any gaps in our calculations.

We acquire our offsets through Ecologi, which funds Gold Standard certified carbon reduction projects globally, as well as verified tree-planting projects. You can track our monthly environmental impact on our Ecologi company profile.

• Trees and carbon to date: We've funded the planting of 1,957 trees so far, and offset 202 tonnes of CO2 emissions in total. That's equivalent to about 828,654 km driven in a car.

• Climate projects: Our contributions through Ecologi have supported producing energy from waste rice husks in India, avoiding methane emissions from landfill in Brazil, and cleaner cookstoves in Zambia and Ghana.

Beyond Offsets

Offsets are the backstop, not the whole picture. Here's what else we're doing.

• Charity: In FY26 we supported WWF and Biolinks Alliance. You can read more about our charitable contributions in our FY26 charity support post.

• Office practices: We recycle e-waste through Officeworks, use accredited green energy suppliers for our office, manage temperature with blinds in sun-exposed spaces, run energy efficient lighting throughout, switch off non-essential hardware out of hours, and continue moving to cloud-based servers that are more efficient than on-premise alternatives.

• Electricity plan: We also maintained our carbon neutral electricity plan for another year, meaning zero carbon emissions from electricity.

Why We Use This Approach

Some businesses pursue carbon neutrality by purchasing a certification from a third-party provider. We've opted for a different path: measuring our own emissions, purchasing verified offsets directly, and funding specific projects we can point to.
