Revium was approached by William Buck Queensland, a prominent financial services firm, to guide them through a critical digital transformation project. Recognising the need for change, whilst acknowledging the importance of unifying various divisions on a vision, William Buck Queensland sought Revium’s expertise to navigate the complexities of digital transformation and establish a strategic pathway forward.
William Buck Queensland faced several challenges at the outset of their digital transformation journey. The firm’s multiple stakeholders, spread across various service divisions and locations, utilised disparate technologies with no central source of truth. This fragmentation led to multiple manual data entry points, risking incomplete or incorrect data. Moreover, there was a lack of alignment among stakeholders about the purpose and value of the digital transformation project, which could hinder progress and consensus.
To tackle these challenges, Revium undertook a research project, starting with the distribution of two detailed surveys to William Buck Queensland's staff and directors. These surveys aimed to gauge the appetite for digital transformation and identify specific focus areas or systems needing attention.
The insights garnered from these surveys informed the subsequent stages of our strategy.
Revium facilitated a workshop involving ten key stakeholders from across the organisation. Employing tools like Figjam and face-to-face discussions, we collaboratively defined an overarching digital transformation vision, complete with goals and initiatives.
This inclusive and hands-on approach ensured stakeholder buy-in from the project inception.
Revium crafted a Digital Transformation Roadmap, outlining clearly prioritised initiatives, success metrics, and an implementation timeline for the next two years.
We encouraged William Buck to established a Digital Transformation Steering Committee, charged with the governance and oversight of a subcommittee for each initiative, thereby ensuring effective management and progress tracking.
The collaborative effort led by Revium culminated in a cohesive and strategically aligned digital transformation roadmap for William Buck Queensland.
By uniting senior stakeholders from multiple divisions around a shared vision, we facilitated consensus on key initiatives for the duration of the project.
Our blueprint not only provided William Buck Queensland with a clear direction for their digital transformation journey but also assisted in the establishment of a management and implementation team.
Equipped with a robust governance and reporting structure, William Buck Queensland is now poised to seamlessly navigate their digital transformation, thanks to the foundational work and strategic insight provided by Revium.
