The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) is the peak body for real estate professionals, providing real estate information and advisory services. REIV partnered with Revium to revamp its website using the Storyblok CMS platform. The new website was launched with powerful AI capabilities including AI-powered search functionality and an AI chatbot for real-time member support.
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) aims to be the leading authority in real estate information and advisory services. To support this mission, REIV revamped its website using the Storyblok CMS platform, enhancing support for its members and providing valuable resources for public education. Representing over 5,000 individuals and 2,000 businesses across Victoria, REIV stands as the premier association for real estate professionals.
REIV recognised the substantial value that early adoption of AI could bring to both the institute and its members. They were particularly interested in how AI-based website search capabilities could be utilised on their new CMS platform to enhance user experience and provide significant benefits to website users. The challenge was to integrate these advanced technologies seamlessly into the new website to improve member support and engagement.
To address this challenge, we proposed a tailored integration of AI into the REIV website.
We delivered three key components:

AI chatbot for real-time member support
Advanced analytics to gain insights into user interactions.

The AI capabilities have set a new standard for member support and engagement, driving higher satisfaction and value perception among members.
The AI search and chatbot functionalities have seen high usage and positive responses, with a total of 7,500 conversations logged for AI search in the first three months of launch. Top themes within these interactions included inquiries related to relevant legislation, the location and address of REIV, and concerns around security and privacy.
By successfully integrating AI chat and search functionalities across their website, REIV experienced a significant increase in traffic and gained valuable insights into user interactions.
This early adoption of AI not only improved the user experience but also positioned REIV as a forward-thinking leader in the real estate industry, committed to leveraging advanced technology for the benefit of its members and the public.
