In an era where data management and cloud operations are pivotal, NetApp, a global leader in data infrastructure, embarked on launching a subscription-based product named Keystone. This innovative product was designed to revolutionise how enterprises manage their data storage and services. However, to harness its full potential, NetApp needed a robust front-end application that not only facilitated subscription management for their clients but also doubled as a compelling sales tool.
NetApp’s Australian operations had ideated Keystone but faced a significant obstacle: their expertise was deeply rooted in back-end development with a gap in front-end design and user experience (UX) capabilities. For Keystone to succeed, it was imperative to create an interface that was both functionally rich and user-friendly, capable of managing complex data interactions in a simplified manner. Moreover, it was essential that this platform could effectively demonstrate Keystone's value to prospective clients, highlighting its capabilities and benefits.
Revium stepped in to bridge this gap. Collaborating closely with NetApp’s back-end engineers, we developed a front-end application that merged high functionality with superior user experience.
Leveraging Vue.js and Apache ECharts, we built a system that seamlessly interacted with REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring versatility and scalability.
Our focus was not just on functionality but on aesthetics and user engagement.
We devised a library of bespoke, reusable UI components. These included a visual data storage selector, multi-step forms for provisioning new storage services, and charts for rich performance and utilisation metrics.
Throughout, our priority was to encapsulate the complexities of data management into an intuitive and attractive user interface, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for Keystone’s users.
The front-end application was a resounding success in helping to enhance Keystone's market position. It served its dual purpose admirably, assisting numerous enterprise customers in managing their subscriptions effortlessly, while simultaneously playing a crucial role in showcasing Keystone to potential clients around the globe.
The result was a surge in multi-million dollar subscriptions, affirming Keystone’s value proposition.
The insights gained from customer interactions with the platform enabled further refinement of the Keystone product, boosting sales and customer satisfaction.
This success story culminated in the strategic decision to integrate the application’s functionality into NetApp’s flagship BlueXP platform, further testament to the quality and impact of Revium’s work on this project.
The collaboration highlighted Revium's capability to deliver complex, high-quality solutions, marking another milestone in our journey as trusted digital advisors.
