The Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) is dedicated to advancing the study of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. GESA faced many challenges with their CCRTGE platform, and engaged Revium to transform the platform, creating a more user-friendly interface and significant cost savings for GESA.
The Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) represents a critical community of gastroenterologists, endoscopists, and researchers dedicated to advancing the study of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. A pivotal aspect of GESA's offering is credentialing for its members in various medical procedures, managed through the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) platform. This custom-built platform became challenging for GESA to update independently, necessitating continuous support from external developers.
GESA faced significant challenges with the CCRTGE platform, as any required updates or changes could not be executed without external assistance. This dependency not only increased ongoing costs for simple tasks but also limited the agility and responsiveness of the system to GESA's evolving needs. The challenge was to enhance the platform, allowing GESA to self-manage and execute day-to-day tasks without compromising the quality or security of the system.
Comprehensive review of GESA's commonly requested updates and system functionalities.
Integrate identified functionalities directly into the CCRTGE system, thereby granting GESA greater autonomy and control.
Deploying updates in iterations, which introduced an improved user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), alongside additional flows and logic that enabled more efficient and flexible processes.
The iterations were carefully designed to empower GESA to manage the majority of their Business As Usual (BAU) tasks independently, with only limited assistance needed from Revium moving forward.
Significantly transformed the operational dynamics of the CCRTGE platform.
GESA members now enjoy a more user-friendly interface, optimised for smoother navigation and task management.
The updates have facilitated a shift towards greater self-sufficiency for GESA, reducing reliance on external support for routine updates and modifications.
Significant cost savings for GESA.
Enhanced the platform's agility, allowing for quicker adaptation to the changing needs of its users.
The success of this project underscores Revium's dedication to delivering tailored and sustainable digital solutions that empower clients to manage their digital assets effectively and independently.
